The Braderie de l’art is a unique event held every year at the
Condition Publique in Roubaix. For
48 hours, artists and designers
come together to
create and sell their creations,
made from scraps. Some of our classmates and I took part in this
weekend of intense creative activity, by making stools using
our low-tech concrete machine.
During this weekend, a
recycling centre was open to all
participants, allowing us to explore and create with a fantastic
selection of materials. Together with our team, we used our
bike-powered, low-tech concrete mixer, to design stools composed of textiles and scrap.
